Hampreston Quarter Peal Day Tuesday 29th January 2019 – Report

“On Tuesday 29th January, 20 Hampreston ringers and friends enjoyed a day ringing at a variety of towers in central Dorset and an excellent lunch at The Oak at Dewlish. Ross called a quarter of Spliced Plain and Little Bob which had 3 firsts in it and Harry covered well on his heaviest bell to a quarter at Cerne Abbas, but star of the day was undoubtedly Richard who faultlessly called his first quarter peal of Plain Bob Minor at the first attempt.
“Sadly quarters of Stedman, Double Oxford and Eynesbury Bob Doubles were not successful despite some good ringing.”
