Update on the repair.
We are very disappointed to report that permission to have the 5th bell welded under the Extended Minor Work provision has been turned down by the Salisbury Diocese and it will now be necessary to apply for a faculty. This will be dealt with by the vicar and PCC who have assured us of their continuing support. We are truly grateful to all those who have donated towards this project and understand that the work will be carried out as soon as possible after the necessary permission has been received.
